Ischia Sorgente di Bellezza was founded in 2014 as the continuation of a long-term vision led by Luigi Cacciapuoti. In 1992, he established his first cosmetics company specializing in products made with thermal water from the island of Ischia, later selling his stake in 2007. Encouraged by long-standing customers, he chose to revive a beauty project that had been put on hold.
Our mission is to create natural and organic skincare lines designed to care for the skin, with distinctive formulas enriched with thermal water from the island of Ischia.
Today, the company serves an established and growing client base through a nationwide sales network of regional representatives supported by a sales director.
Production
Production and formulation are personally overseen by Mr. Cacciapuoti, with the support of several cosmetic science consultants.
The company continually develops new projects and product updates, carefully researching and selecting natural and organic ingredients found on the island. This approach enables us to create products that are effective, gentle, and well tolerated even by sensitive skin.
The Island of Ischia
Located in the Gulf of Naples, Ischia is a volcanic island known around the world as the Green Island and the Island of Eternal Youth. Its beauty is matched by the therapeutic and cosmetic qualities of its thermal waters. Rich in mineral salts, these waters are known for their nourishing, hydrating, and soothing properties and have been celebrated since ancient times, appearing in Homer’s Iliad, Virgil’s Aeneid, and the writings of Pliny and Strabo.
Ischia has long been associated with wellness and beauty, thanks to its thermal springs and warm, humid climate, which supports lush Mediterranean vegetation and fragrant botanicals. For centuries, women of the royal courts used plant essences and Ischia’s thermal water in restorative baths and beauty rituals.
The company owns the trademarks “Ischia Sorgente di Bellezza”, “Ischia Bio Thermal”, and “Aqua fragranze indigene Isola d’Ischia”.
