Ischia Sorgente di Bellezza was founded in 2014 by Luigi Cacciapuoti as part of an ongoing project. He founded his first cosmetics company based on the thermal waters of Ischia in 1992 and sold his share in 2007. After many requests from loyal clients, he made the decision to return to cosmetics and take up again his interrupted beauty project.
Our mission is to create natural and organic cosmetic lines that satisfy the skin care needs of our customers in every way. Our products are one of a kind in their use of the healing thermal waters of the Island of Ischia.
Today our company has a consolidated client portfolio of 300 units and is continuing to expand. Our network of vendors extends over the entire national territory and is overseen by regional agents, assisted by a director of sales.
Production
Production and formulation are overseen personally by Mr. Cacciapuoti in collaboration with his cosmetology consultant Dr. Terenghi.
The company uses five cosmetic laboratories, one of which is located on the island of Ischia, thanks to which it works on continuous projects and updates by carefully researching and selecting natural and organic raw materials existing on the island, thus encouraging the creation of effective and well tolerated even by the most sensitive skin.
The island of Ischia
Situated in the Golf of Naples, this volcanic island is known all over the world as the ‘Green Island’ and ‘The Island of Eternal Youth’, both for its beauty and for the unique healing abilities and aesthetic benefits of its thermal waters. Its waters are rich with mineral salts that nourish, hydrate, and sooth to improve and stabilize the natural PH balance of the skin. These thermal waters have been celebrated since ancient times, cited Homer’s Iliad and Virgil’s Aeneid, as well as by Pliny and Strabo.

From the times of the ancient Greeks and Romans, the unique properties of the island have been used to heal body and soul. Through the ages, courtesans have used the essences of the plants and thermal waters of the island to create tonics that improve the beauty of their skin.

Products
Our cosmetics lines are formulated with natural and organic ingredients and we ensure that they contain local elements found on the Island of Ischia. Our offerings include products for the face, body, and hair, as well as an Eau de Toilette line. These are available in consumer and professional format, for use in salons, perfumeries, herbalist shops, and pharmacies.
Our simple and elegant packaging has been carefully crafted to create an aesthetic that recalls nature and the sensation of wellbeing.
Our latest snail slime and organic aloe lines have been very popular both with new and established clients.
Marketing
Our company is creating a series of advertising campaigns for Facebook and Amazon; these aim to increase our international visibility and strengthen our brand image. We seek to also maintain a local presence on the Island of Ischia, with window displays for tourists from all around the world.
The products are presented in four languages, Italian, English, Russian and German to satisfy global customers both with the printing of information material and on the cases.
