Mask for sensitive skin Bio Active is a facial treatment formulated with Organic Chamomile, Bilberry Extract, Organic Aloe Vera, Biotech Hyaluronic Acid and Ischia Thermal Water. It was created for sensitive, delicate skin but can also be used on dry, dehydrated, normal, combination or oily complexions whenever additional moisture and comfort are needed.

The mask is designed for facial treatments focused on restoring moisture and radiance. Its fresh texture spreads easily into an even layer and is left on for a few minutes before being rinsed away.

Its blend of active ingredients helps soothe feelings of heat and discomfort, visibly reduce temporary redness and restore a fresher, brighter-looking complexion. After use, the skin feels softer, smoother and more comfortable.

Organic Aloe Vera and Organic Chamomile Extract provide soothing and softening cosmetic benefits. Biotech Hyaluronic Acid helps retain water on the skin’s surface, reducing dehydration and feelings of tightness.

It is suitable for sensitive, delicate and redness-prone skin, as well as dry, dehydrated, normal, combination or oily complexions. Its main purpose is to moisturize and soothe; it is not an absorbent mask designed specifically to control excess oil.

It may be particularly useful when the face looks tired or dull or feels tight and temporarily uncomfortable after exposure to cold weather, wind, air conditioning or frequent cleansing. Apply only to intact skin.

How to use

1. Cleanse the face thoroughly with a gentle cleanser.
2. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat the skin dry without rubbing.
3. Dispense enough product to cover the face using clean hands.
4. Apply a thin, even layer to the skin.
5. Avoid the eye contour, lash line, lips and mucous membranes.
6. Leave on for 10-15 minutes without exceeding the recommended time.
7. Remove gently with a soft, damp facial sponge.
8. Rinse away any remaining residue with lukewarm water.
9. Pat the face dry and follow with serum and moisturizer.

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, lash line, lips and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not apply to cuts, abrasions, severely irritated skin, sunburn or areas affected by an acute skin reaction.

The formula contains fragrance, colorants and fragrance allergens, including Hexyl Cinnamal and Linalool. Highly sensitive or reactive skin should perform a patch test on a small area before regular use. Remove the mask immediately if intense burning, itching or persistent worsening of redness occurs.

How to use it in your skincare routine

Use the mask after cleansing and before serum and moisturizer. Unless the manufacturer advises otherwise, it can be included in the routine once or twice a week, adjusting the frequency to the skin’s sensitivity and needs.

On the day of application, avoid abrasive scrubs, cleansing brushes, peels and other potentially irritating treatments. If the skin has already been sensitized by exfoliating acids, retinoids or sun exposure, wait until it feels comfortable again before applying the mask.

After rinsing, apply a soothing or moisturizing serum and finish with a cream suited to your skin type. Use sunscreen in the morning, particularly when the skin is sensitive or prone to redness.
